Serving the Essex Coastal Town of Brightlingsea

Welcome to Brightlingsea Town Council's website. Here you'll find information about the facilities and services the Council maintains for the Brightlingsea, along with other information relevant to the town.

It is our intention to publish every piece of Council information that is in the public domain or is discussed in the public part of meetings. Please let us know if there's something you think is missing.

Listen In

We've introduced a new text-to-speech facility on this site.

To hear an article, make sure your speakers are on and the volume is turned up, then simply highlight the text you want to listen to and the text should be read back to you.

It's an experimental system, so let us know if you find it useful, have any problems with it, or have any suggestions.
