  • CORRESPONDENCE RECEIVED:
  • Copy of the Group Tourism and Travel Magazines – April 2017 and May 2017.
  • Copy of the May/June 2017 edition of the Bus Passenger News. Please note there will be a revised route and timetable on the 87/87C Brightlingsea – Colchester Hedingham service from 30/05/17. (Copied to Councillors Judson and Smith).
  • Letter of thanks received from the Brightlingsea Carnival Association for its Annual Grant for 2017.
  • Letter from a local resident concerning Springmead Gardens, and how beautiful they are. (Letter forwarded onto the Springmead Trust).
  • Notification of the Fields in Trust AGM, which is taking place on Tuesday 6th June in London. Also enclosed is a copy of the Fields in Trust’s Spring/Summer 2017 newsletter.
  • Notification from Tendring District Council on the Recycling Credits from the Community Recycling Site at the Community Centre. From the period January – March 17 the site generated £726.96.
  • Letter of thanks from the YMCA for its annual grant, and the work carried out by the Groundsmen who cut back the boundary hedge twice a year.

  • CORRESPONDENCE REQUIRING ACTION:
  • The Taoist Tai Chi Society requests permission to do a display of Taoist Tai Chi, on the green area of Victoria Place, in front of the Spar, to do a demonstration on 5th August from 2pm – 4pm. They would like to let more people know about Taoist Tai Chi, and to advertise some upcoming beginners’ classes.
